Tumbleweed usually has several volunteer
opportunities available for individual volunteers and
occasionally has volunteer opportunities for group
volunteers. We do not have a specific community service
program or liaison. Tumbleweed usually has both long-
and short-term opportunities; some of these do include
direct work with our youth and some are administrative
only.
If you are interested in volunteering with youth, a
fingerprint background check is required due to
licensing regulations, a $42 cost to you. Tumbleweed
will help you through the fingerprint and clearance card
processes through the Arizona Department of Public
Safety. As a prospective ongoing volunteer working
directly with youth, you would also need to go through a
formal interview and application process.
Please download Tumbleweed’s
Volunteer Services Application and review each of
our programs for the specific current volunteer options
where applicable. The application will also list other
administrative, fundraising (special events) and
facilities opportunities that are usually available on
an ongoing basis.
