General In-Kind (Non Cash) Contributions

Please note that Tumbleweed may not be able to pick up your large donation within two weeks as we only have one pick up truck, two staff and ongoing maintenance/construction needs at our 8 facilities. Sometimes it can be up to a month to schedule a pick up. Ideally, if you have your own vehicle and can deliver your donation to us, we will gladly meet you to help you unload and greatly appreciate you dropping the item(s) off!

The following In-Kind list is very general.

Furniture - Office and home (inside and outside patio), sturdy and in at least good/fair condition (glass not preferred)
Major Appliances - Heavy duty electric washers and dryers, upright freezers, refrigerators…
Minor Appliances - Microwaves, 4 slice toasters/ovens, NEW crock pots, electric frying pans, vacuums…
Electronics - Televisions, discmans, DVD/VCRs, alarm clocks, flashlights
Beds - Twin size frames, NEW twin size (mattresses/box springs), sheets, blankets, new pillows, plastic mattress covers and plastic pillow cases
Recreational - DVDs, playing cards, board games, art supplies, sport balls, frisbees
Food - Nonperishable single serve nutritional meals/snacks, formula and baby food
Clothes - Business clothes, dress shoes, white athletic and business socks for girls and boys, scarves, gloves, hats and underwear for girls and boys
Educational - Books at all levels, Spanish-English books are fourth grade level and below
Hygiene/Personal Care - Full size shampoo and conditioner, bar and liquid body soap, razors, shaving gel, deodorant, feminine products, full size toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs/brushes…
Misc. - Towels, wash cloths, laundry detergent, large Tupperware, measuring cups and kitchen utensils
