Arizona's only transitional shelter

Co-located with UMOM New Day Centers, Tumbleweed's 30 bed Emergency Housing Program; designed to immediately reduce the occurrence of violence, sexual exploitation, malnutrition, and health risks associated with long-term homelessness; will provide a safe alternative to street survival for young adults, many of whom are fearful of or unable to navigate traditional adult social services without support.

Located in a former motel property, the program will offer transitional shelter in homelike studio apartments for up to 90 days as residents work toward individual goals for self-sufficiency with the support of Case Managers at Tumbleweed's Youth Resource Centers and have access to Tumbleweed's full family of programs including longer-term transitional housing, educational programs, and workforce development services.
