Bilingual Clinician
Description
Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development is a nonprofit organization founded in 1972 to help troubled youth in our community. We are currently recruiting for a full-time Bilingual Clinician. The Clinician conducts mental health assessments for all youth in care, as well as provides ongoing individual and group counseling, screening for human trafficking concerns, and crisis intervention.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct Services:
Performs screening and evaluation functions.
Performs intake and assessment functions.
Provides counseling services.
Provides individual and family counseling to all clients as appropriate.
Develops treatment plans that help client identify goals and objectives.
Incorporates and operationalizes placement goals of referring agency.
Determines and implements educational and vocational objectives for long term clients.
Provides telephone information and referral and “drop-in” crisis counseling.
Facilitates and/or supervises in-house groups.
Plans for and conducts exit procedures.
Makes periodic contacts with all clients by phone, written communication, home visit or appointment, as appropriate.
Determines, evaluates, and links community resources for specific aftercare needs.
Provides on-going individual, group, and family counseling services to clients as appropriate.
Performs termination functions.
Performs follow-up functions.
Training and Supervision: Provides training and supervision to Youth Care staff as directed by the ORR Program Director and/or Lead Clinician as needed to implement treatment planning and intervention.
REQUIREMENTS:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: MSW and two years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience, or a master’s degree in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience is a program requirement. Applicants must be licensed or eligible to obtain licensure. Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
Applicants must be able to pass DPS Fingerprint Clearance, have a valid Arizona Drivers License with good driving history.
Maintenance Assistant
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Assist the Facilities Manager with the maintenance and repair of the group homes; including but not limited to construction, landscaping, painting and plumbing. Move clients in and out of group home facilities.
•Assist the Facilities Manager with the pickup of donations to agency and the delivery to appropriate destinations.
•Complete miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
•Must be able to work independently.
•On call every other week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED. Some maintenance experience required. Position requires a valid Arizona Drivers License and DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card. Must have own transportation, mileage reimbursement available.
$10.00-$13.00 hourly + benefits
