Mike at his internship One of the many success stories that flies out of the doors of our Pappas Place Drop-In Center	Welcome to our latest volunteers, Barbara and Buddy! We enjoy their visits every other week at our MAJC Day Treatment Center
Tumbleweed would like to take a moment and extend appreciation to our Facilities Maintenance Manager, Joseph Fouts and our Maintenance Assistant, Gus Valiente We appreciate all you do!!	On June 19th, Watermill Xpress visited our Pappas Place Drop-In Center and donated gallons of water as well as tokens for our client to ensure hydration while they are out and about.
Members of the Praying Monk Kiwanis foundation donated hard work, dedication, equipment and skill to add a shade area to our Young Adult Program.	New Boys House basketball court donated by John & Desiree Coats, Jim Fox with Sport Court and Art Cunningham.
	Free Arts of Arizona presented honorable mention to Tumbleweed clients, Rauol G., Kyle T. , and second place ribbon to Whitney H. for entering their artwork as an exhibit in Free Arts "Sunshine, Rays of Hope" art exhibit in March 2003.

• Drop-In Center Tours: You are invited to join us for a tour of Tumbleweed's Phoenix Drop-In Center. The center provides a range of services for homeless youth seven days a week. The age range of these youth are from nine to twenty-two. Tour dates are: August 20th, September 17th, October 15th and November 19th, 2003. Information: Nikki Fisher (602) 271-9904
  
• Learning Center Tours: You are invited to join us for a tour of Tumbleweed's Phoenix Learning Center. The center has a committed staff of five serving the Tumbleweed community in three areas: job development, education and vocational placement and educational tutoring. The mission at the learning center is to prepare youths and families in the Tumbleweed community for a successful future by building educational opportunities and vocational skills.
