This afternoon Tumbleweed hosted our first Lunch & Learn event. We had a great turnout and met some wonderful people.

Cindy Schuler, our CEO shared the latest Tumbleweed updates with attendees, including information about the opening of our new Phoenix Youth Resource Center, the Wonderwall Artwork Contest, the incredible water drive results from our QT & Arizona Republic partnership, our COA accreditation process and so much more. We packed quite a bit of information into an hour and answered a lot of great questions!

Participants were asked to bring their own lunches and we provided beverages and desserts courtesy of the amazing Urban Cookies Bakeshop on 7th Street and Camelback. They have the best cupcakes in town and are always so generous with Tumbleweed. In fact, they recently launched a campaign to help collect non-perishable food items for our homeless youth and in return, patrons will receive discounts on their delicious baked goods! http://www.urbancookies.com/

We look forward to meeting with more individuals at our next event. Stay tuned for future Lunch & Learns or similar gatherings where you can find out more about how Tumbleweed is involved in the community and making a difference in the lives of at-risk youth every day. And thank you again to everyone who came out today; we appreciate your support.
