Phoenix  January 19, 2016   Thousands of students, fans and Tumbleweed supporters packed Grand Canyon  University Arena last night to cheer on the basketball Antelopes and show support for Tumbleweed.

‘Tumbleweed Night’ at GCU featured a check presentation at half court from the University to Tumbleweed, a Cox7 live interview with CEO Cynthia Schuler, a Tumbleweed-themed video on the Arena screens and dozens of Tumbleweed youth enjoying free tickets at a positive, high energy event.

“A fantastic night,” said Schuler.  “Grand Canyon has done a great job building a positive student and family experience and committing to helping build a stronger Phoenix community. We appreciate being part of that.”

“I want to thank GCU and President Brian Mueller for inviting us to participate,” she added.
